need help with jump in chapter 9 (i think)

I'm on a roof top and there are 3 small platforms with fire in between them. I have to double jump to get to the first, can do the next but can't get enough clearence to cross over the last gap

I'm not sure the jump sequence in 9-1 is even possible on my phone. In YouTube videos, Altair can reach the first platform on a single jump, the second platform as a double and the last as a triple. On my phone (the HTC Arrive), it takes a triple to reach the first, I can reach the second with a single due to a glitchy spot you can land (which then requires you to jump up onto the platform), but the best I can do off that second platform is a double since it's short... and it's got to take a triple. I am starting to think this game is just going to sit and wreck my completion percentage... ANY help on that jump would be great!

Holy crap, I got it! It turns out your jump carries just a *bit* more if you hold the jump button down. I singled to the first, doubled to the second and tripled across the third... This was after, literally, probably 200 tries. I know, I'm persistent

Nice double post! Anyways, I didn't figure out until this moment that holding jump gives you a tiny boost. I'd know I didn't give this part 200 tries, but maybe 25...
