Got the game as a Demo and thought it looked really good but I definitely wouldn't get it for the achievements.

Can anyone confirm this. Still showing as £5.49 on my Marketplace.

EDIT: Can see it online at £3.99 but still hasn't updated on my phone. Getting sick of having to turn my phone off just to get it to update.

Also be nice if MS actually updated their website on a regular basis as Deal of the Week is never updated until late Wednesday, early Thursday if not later and it hardly ever discloses the game for release the following week. We end up having to rely on wpcentral.com to get our news.

Damn it, they need to stop putting the "stackable" games as DOTW!

I think they know I will keep buying them... $4.99 is still a lot though.

Another game I have already. I have to slow down on my purchases. I think there has only been one game that I haven't already bought since deal of the week started.

Edit: Definitely need to slow down. 41 games at present and I know I will end up getting Lunar Lander because I already have 3 golds in the Arcade on that.

Hmmm, yeah. Although a lot does seem to depend on what kind of phone you have... I see an awful lot of Omnia users complaining, but less HD7 owners. Unless there just are less HD7 owners.

However, having said that, these phone LIVE games do seem to be a bit more buggy than their XBLA LIVE counterparts! Glow Artisan, for instance, crashes all of the time on my HD7.

Because I was thinking... of all the games I might *expect* to be buggy, Logic Games wouldn't necessarily be one of them!!!

Deal price £2.49 I presume, price hasn't updated yet

Oddly it was listed as DOTW, then my battery went flat, now it's gone back to normal.

I just found it again, it's listed as DOTW in the applications section, not at the home page

Unless Pac-Man comes with an update to improve the controls, i'll pass. I have Pac Man CEDX already and I love it, don't see a need for a lesser version.

Besides that, the Achievements are nigh-impossible in regular Pac-Man.

Apparently, it does!!! According to the reviews, there is now a V 1.1 patch which greatly improves the controls. Not yet sure if the controls are exactly the same as in CE DX, but it sounds like it would be well worth checking out if you are tempted.

Further to East's post, I have heard it said a few times now that the achevements are rock hard... but I am not sure if that was mainly because the controls were so wonky. Maybe they are more achievable now? Having said that, the list does not look easy.

Yeah, I went for Game Chest. It's easy to know if you would find it good or not... do you like Minesweeper, Suduko, and Chess? If the answer to at least two of those is yes, then it is worth getting, because, happily, the presentation and the implementation are pretty good, so there is nothing else to take into consideration, really. Minesweeper at a higher difficulty level can be a bit tricky because of the screen size, but pinch zooming is supported, thankfully! The achievements could be a real grind though, but I play these games a lot anyway, and so will get there over time. Maybe in 2014.

Also... two of the achievements require online play (Chess). I did pick it up as deal of the week, but I do believe that it is still very good value at the normal price, if you like these games.

I got logic game during the deal, its quite good.

I was suckered into to buying Pac-man, don't care how bad the controls are.

Hold on... what the hell?!? Now my phone is telling me that Pac-Man CE DX is the deal of the week!!! Man, looks like Microsoft have their wires seriously crossed here!!! Must just be the normal Pac-Man, surely? It is an advert in the bit where you start your actual games. Most odd!!!

I'm seeing the same here. The spotlight is wrong, obviously. It says CEDX but the icon is for the original. It does indeed link to CEDX though (mine actually launches CEDX), but its still full price on the game's page. If you search regular Pac-Man that is $2.99/2.49.

What a mistake indeed. Getting people's hopes up over a game that so many people are crying foul over about the price.

Amazingly, it is still the same this morning!

Hopefully most people will think the same as I did when I first saw it: "Hang on, it has only been out for two weeks, it is selling well, and Microsoft cut it *now*? No chance."

Like yourself, I am amazed that they made such a slip when people are constantly moaning about prices anyway (for every single game).

I should imagine that the link will not last the day.
