Yeah we got the Original guide up running, now we need the DLC achievements, which shouldn't really be hard (as soon as Vakelhyans gets patched).
![]() So for Makoto's achivements: Fur and Loathing in Kagutsuchi 30![]() Dealt over 5,000 damage in a single combo using this character. Go into Versus mode, set the match settings to 1 round and unlimited time. Get your opponent health down to about 20-35% and have a 100% Heat Gauge. (Note: Instant block should boost the Heat Gauge faster, another method is to play vs the COM and taunt, it will gain you a 100% Heat Gauge) Now just use Makoto's Astral Heat ( + ) , it should deal over 5000 damage. If you're having trouble with the input, start up a match with beginner mode turned on, get your Heat Gauge up to 100%, opponent health down to 35%, stand next to the opponent and hold . I Gnu It Was Ewe 40 Beat over 7 missions in Challenge mode using this character. You just have to beat 7 missions with Makoto in challenge mode, this is a perfectly place for practice, seeing as this is a very skill-based achievement, take your time and learn her combos. Oh Nuts 10![]() Used the Unlimited version of this character. Simply pick her unlimited form before starting a match, it should unlock when the match starts. |

Oh yeah, forgot this achievement ^-^"
Rear Window 10![]() [Replay Theater] Watched replays of more than 20 different matches. You can collect Replay data by completing Ranked/Player matches, or saving other players Replay Data (you can check the leaderboards for this). Watch 20 different replays and it should unlock. |

the in-game description of the win 100 player matches is wrong.
i got it when i hit the 100 matches and i lost like 40 of them. I boosted with a friend today and he lost a few matches too and still got it when he hit the 100 matches. i googled it and its defenitly wrong described. Last edited by CoregBlue1; 04-25-2011 at 11:50 PM. |

For everyone who eventually has trouble with the achievement from Tsubaki: I had to switch to Version 1.00 to get it, tried almost two hours to get it .. after I switched I got it on the first try.

I really really hope to make a roadmap very soon. I burned myself out from playing Calamity Trigger and then went straight into this one.

[QUOTE=Plym;3987051]The original guide for BlazBlue: Continuum Shift was deleted by it's author so I've spent the last few days knocking this together.
This is completely ALL my own work. I have achieved 100% on Calamity Trigger so I'm no stranger to the game and have been working through the achievements as I've been writing the guide. HAHAHA that was me actually. I had no Idea how to make guides so I just deleted it. I 1000'd BBCT but have yet to 1250 BBCS if you ever wanna play hit me up still love the series and if you need any help with your guide lemme know cuz I put at least 5 hours into coming up with the different guides for each achievement. |

I'm talking about iNf3Rn0 Lan's guide which he was told to remove as it was written by a now banned member who wanted it taken down. Read the first page.

You should add that for Lamb to the Slaughter, you can just pick Beginner Mode, fight against Tager in VS mode with infinite time(obviously youll need 2 controllers). Have him beat you to about 10-20% health so that your distortion meter can build up on its on. Wait for your meter to build to 100, put Tager into the corner and do the distortion by holding down the Medium button once, then again while the 1st distortion is going. Then dash in and spam the Low button for the remaining hits.

Do I really have to explain that charging one button to perform an action is easier than using multiple buttons? You've got to be joking. Additionally some people have problems doing the stick motions for certain moves (like the Z motion, for example), in case you did not know. |

I suck at making guides so I'm not gonna bother posting the pictures/ description I'll leave that to the pro. Also Platinum is out and has the same achievements as Makoto as well. However for her 5000 point combo I just put my opponent into negative state and danger and tried a simple juggle (can't remember what but its in her challenges). Lol more, I noticed the first time I went for art and collectibles i was still missing some after going through everything listed in the guide, but then leveled up online and got them. I believe it was around level 25 or 30 you get the last art. Other than that great guide sorry about the earlier post and if you need help I'm here (Also use my method for challenge mode it's weird but helpful)

I know, I really need to finish this guide.
I was so burned out by too much Calamity Trigger that I needed a break from it then along came MK, SF4: AE and now SF3: OE.

I know you've most likely tried it already, but what i suggest, is to use jin, Spam ice swords then use the occasional Ice car, the only trouble should be Unlimited rachel and Hazama

Tips for easy grinding for Fatality! and Hold On Loosely:
Use Valkenhayn ou Arakune against Tager in local versus, 5 rounds, Infinite time. As a general reference most Forward+C attacks deal Fatal Counter damage since they have high knockback. For Fatality! (30+ Fatal Counter), use Forward+C and as the move is about to hit Tager press Tager's B (since it's a low kick you risk almost nothing, especially with Valkenhayn who does a hopping kick, if it fails with Arakune use Tager's A since it's a mid attack) on the second controller. Lather, rinse, repeat. For Hold On Loosely (30+ Throw Reject Miss) it's a bit more tricky, you'll need basically the same settings, but you'll have to remap buttons. I did it with Valkenhayn, but it should work with about everyone: You're going to need two keys for your main character and one for Tager. So remap B+C to a face button for both characters. A Throw Reject Miss, as you should know, is a throw performed after a counter against a throw. It's an auto-miss for the victim since any throw break or burst becomes forbidden. So the trick is to get your character as close to Tager as you can, then press A on your controller, a split-second after (not simultaneously) you press your key for B+C for Tager and as you counter his throw press your B+C key. Lather, rinse, repeat. With 5 rounds in versus you can grind this easily. 3 rounds are fine as well, just kill yourself with Tager once or twice to make the fight last longer. The difference with my method compared to most other methods I've read is that you don't need to press Forward+A but just A, which means you can lay both control pads flat and use a hand per controller to get the timing right. Of course it's nigh-useless outside of the farming, but it might help you understand some timings and hitboxes better. |

Valkenhayn achievements aren't glitched anymore (You're probably aware) so you should remove that footnote at the end.
Valkenhayn R Hellsing DLC Battle Butler 30![]() Dealt over 5,000 damage in a single combo using this character. Best method is to use Valkenhayn's Astral Heat (214214+C). Reduce the opponents health to 35% and make sure you're in the final round to perform the move. Three Wolf Moon 15![]() Used the Unlimited version of this character. Select the unlimited version in versus mode. To select unlimited on the default controller scheme, press LT. On Her Ladyship's Secret Service 40![]() Beat over 7 missions in Challenge mode using this character. This just boils down to individual skill and effort. With the release of v1.03, majority of the challenges have been updated. So switch between v1.02 and v1.03 until you find a challenge that you feel comfortable with. This option gives you twice the amount of challenges to attempt and switching between the updates won't reset the challenges you have completed. Platinum the Trinity DLC For Whom the Bell Tolls 30![]() Dealt over 5,000 damage in a single combo using Platinum. To dish out 5k damage with Platinum The Trinity in a single combo, select her unlimited version, max your heat up to 100 by either taunting the CPU or boosting it with a second controller, then execute Miracle Jeanne (236236+D). With Our Powers Combined! 15![]() Used the Unlimited version of Platinum. Select the unlimited version in versus mode. To select unlimited on the default controller scheme, press LT. By the Power of Trinity... 40![]() Beat over 7 missions in Challenge mode using Platinum. This just boils down to individual skill and effort. You can't switch between v1.02 and v1.03 with Platinum since the character was introduced in v1.03. I'm not too sure if these have been posted. Couldn't see them at first glance and it's real late as of now. Last edited by Dark Sayer; 03-23-2012 at 06:58 AM. |
