Is it true that in CTF when you pick up the flag and continue to drop it do you keep getting points ?

The reason I ask I was in a game the other day and this guy had 98 points only 12 kills and 20 deaths.

If this is true thats so easy to get lots of Ranking points

It is also called cheating, and we dont like that here.
