Is the Platinum Cardio Boxing workout worth the points?

Looking for a workout that will burn calories faster for my achievement, but I want the better workout of not waiting for the "slow" movements and has a little more to it.

I get pretty bored during parts of the Gold workout. Is the Platinum more of the same or can it keep at a bit faster pace?

If you want to go towards the calorie cheevies, it's DEFINITELY worth the points, but all it will do is accellerate it - it doesn't any anything new to the game GS wise.

The Platinum 3 (5 minutes long) is definitely the fastest burn/time, in 5 minutes I'm burning about 70-75 - if you don't mind repeating it (and maybe getting bored), do it a few times and you can hit several hundred in less than 30 minutes.

If you are just going for the cheevies, then put your weight at maximum, and as long as you do the exercises then you'll be hitting over 100 calories per 5 minutes!

Finally downloaded it...some of these are really frustrating because it's only sensing either the squats or the step backs, not both. Still, it's quite a bit faster than the Gold class and that's what I was looking for...worth it I guess.

The thing is, I'm not a douche. So I'm not going to do that. I'm actually trying to get into shape with this, just using achievements as motivation.

I know its an old thread, but I do enjoy the platinum addition to the routine list. even if it doesnt register certain movements well, it still counts the calories.

Also, if you move more you can increase your calorie burn count. I have gotten 170 before on the cardio boxing gold (12 min) routine. On the between move of jump-rope for instance - if you move your arms up/down (like jumping jacks) you can add a good 20+ calories to the overall count - all movements add up.
