Windows Phone 7 vs. Apple iPhone 4
Ok I dont really know much about mobiles to be honest, my phone just died and that lasted me 5 years so as you can tell I dont constantly buy the newest one out.
Anyway I am trying to choose between Windows phone 7 and the iphone but I'm not sure which one has the best specs/features and any areas where either lack features the other has. I know you can get achievements through the windows phone but a few of my friends have iphones and say they are very recommended. Anyone here have experience with one or both phones? |

I had an iPhone 3GS and I switched to a Samsung focus WP7, and I like the Windows Phone a lot more, there aren't as many apps on the store as the iPhone has, but more are added each week. The Windows OS is very easy to use, very straight forward, and it comes with Microsoft Word, which is extremely easy to use and a lot better than iPhones "notes", and Powerpoint (never needed to use that though)
But with the WP7, it all depends which phone you get, I got the Samsung Focus because it has a 5.0MP camera, like the iPhone 4, a 4'' AMOLED screen, which has amazing picture quality, all the colours look so vivid and bright. Plus I got the WP7 because I wanted to earn achievements when I'm out, and when I'm on the bus. |

I have the HTC HD7 with WP7 and so far no complaints, I had an iPhone for the past 3 years and to be honest WP7 is better to me. Its easy to use smooth doesn't slow down like my iPhone use to do. iPhones do have aloooooot of apps but only like 5% are useful I downloaded around 120 apps total and in the end I only kept around 15. WP7 doesn't have many apps yet but the OS is still new so in a couple months they'll have plenty of apps.
Why are you pushing Androids aside those are great phones as well. But in the end which ever you choose you'll still have a good phone iPhone or WP7. But choose wp7

IMO, the Windows phones don't really have that much going for them. The whole connection to Xbox LIVE is the only awesome thing it has.
I'd suggest an Android or an iPhone over it. |

They're both good phones, each of them have their benefits and disadvantages.
