Is morale important in Ultimate Team?

Most of my players have a morale of like 30 or below, is this bad??? What does Morale do?

Not sure it must though cause they would have put it in otherwise

having high morale probably just boosts their stats a few points. Low morale would do the opposite. That's a complete guess though.

If you buy a few packs you'll find a stadium with a Morale Boost in it, apply that and you'll rarely have any players with low morale. Also I think if you lose it lowers their morale, so don't lose.
