End of the Line Help

Okay so I defend the train station with no problem. Then the train starts coming, so I start heading down the track and get on the turret. Once the train is visible, I unload on it. It only loses half of its health and blows up the train station. Can someone tell me the proper way to blowing up the train?

What you want to do is defend the station, and as soon as the train starts coming, switch to the paratroopers who drop in. Go into the last turret[one nearest to the train] and start shooting. When it passes you, Switch to the next trooper the farthest away from the train. I managed to get 10 stars in that mission by that method.
