Problems with DLC and PC Retail version

Hey guys, I haven't found a similar thread regarding my problem. I have a retail copy (GfWL) of Section 8 and downloaded the DLC via the GfWL Marketplace but I can't get the DLC to work. In the game itself the option "downloadable content" is greyed and the achievement are not added in the loadout menu.

I have seen that the install directory of the main game is different from the DLC. Does taht matter? How does the game realize that there is DLC?

Can someone help me?

I'm wondering about this too. I don't want to buy the dlc if I can't use with the retail game. Anyone know where to put the DLC?
