How many cubs.

So, i was wondering how many cubs you can adopt in the game.
I already have 5 at the cub houses now.
When i go to the circle (sorry my game is in dutch so i dont know the exact names in english) the cubs appear at the circle too.
At circle there can only be 5 cubs, so when i scan a new code one of those cubs i allready have will make room for the new one.
So now i'm wondering where the cub that made room (allready adopted) will go to, will it disappear or will it go back to the pet houses?

Sorry for bad english, dont know how to explain it in good way :P
