Beilsarius from the Aksys Forums stated that there will be a patch for the US version to help with the Slowdown, there is no definite date yet on when this patch will be released, but at least we're being known about this ahead of time.

Unfortunate. The slowdown has always helped me dodge projectiles more easily. The non patch will be missed.....

Isn't the patch meant to introduce MORE slowdown? Does anyone know?

The Update/Patch for DeathSmiles (NA) was released on 2/15 and now has the slowdown as the JP version, and makes the update Version 1.02 on the title screen.

Yep, more slowdowns. But it's only for the NA version because the PAL version is based on the Japanese one (I know you're anxious about that )
