Update not working

Hi everyone.

I just bought this game the other day and downloaded the new updates straight away. Trouble is it hasn't worked. I downloaded both but the one I wanted was the one that adjusted to the summer signings. Right now I'm stuck with old teams. Football moves fast and I want the latest signings pre January transfer windows.

Any help or advice?
