Pit Stop Problem

Is anyone else having problems with the pit stops? Every time I go in to get my tires changed it goes to an image of the red car and the pit car then nothing else. You can hear the cars going around the track but the image of those two cars does not move. Is this a glitch from the new update for the game or something?

My game froze up one time while I was doing a pit stop, but nothing else strange.
