There are multiple methods to do this.

The method that I found the most easiest for this achievement is having a friend in a private game. Choose the "Giant" map, "Battle" mode, and only have the "Bomb Up" & "Fire Up" power ups selected. Then, once all the soft blocks have been removed from the arena, go to the middle, next to each other, and then face away from each other, like cowboys. Then, the person who needs the achievement needs to put down the first bomb. Then, once the first bomb has been placed, both players put all of their bombs in a line, to hopefully total up to 12 bombs or more.

Easier to do on bankroll, have both players earn enough money to buy 6 bombs and time bombs before the round starts and bingo.

Thanks, I did try to do that and for some reason it didn't pop though, but that's a good idea, but it does take longer time to get cash to buy it, so best just to play giant and pick them up as you go along.

Both players can earn all the money from 2 short rounds (less if you have another controller) and then its guaranteed to unlock in the next round.

I played King of the Crown or whatever that mode is called. With 2p as a guest, so just ran around gathering bombs as I was collecting the Crown achievement.

Think I had a rocket bomb as well, just ran down a line with my bomberman laying down bombs, and it popped. May have been during some of the bombs were going off that I was able to lay more, but it was pretty easy that way.

I prefer any gametype, with two players, only Bomb Up, Remotes, and anything else you want to clear blocks quickly (Skates, Fire Up). Then, lay 6+ bombs each and fire away! You could do it without remotes but you might die before you lay them all properly.

It's easy regardless I guess...
