Stuck on a level section

As the title suggests. I don't know how best to describe it but here goes.

I am in a large room, the entrance is a large slope to the left, and there are a load of wooden platforms around. There is a launch pad roughly centre of the room. To the right of the room is a turret laser, and it is facing a door to the right. I have been all over looking for a switch but to no avail.

If anyone reads this I will be surprised. I notice the forum page is dead. Would appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.
