I'm really glad that they are not giving up. Yeah, it had it problems but I really enjoyed it. Should be interesting to see how they improve on what they didn't do right.

I liked Wet even if it had it's downfalls. If they improved on the game mechanics it would be a much more enjoyable game.

I enjoyed the first one, plus the soundtrack kicked ass!
So I'll be buying part 2.

Yeah I loved the music too, especially during the red parts of the game.
Really looking forward to the sequel, hopefully we find out what happened to the cowboy assassin.

Kind of surprising, I thought sales were poor on the original. Wet was ok, but Ruby was way too underpowered when not flipping or sliding. If they can find a better balance, I think Wet2 could be great.

I just got it. Almost through my first playthrough and I love it. It has its faults, but overall it's very enjoyable IMO. Glad to see a sequel being produced.
But, this thread was created a while ago and I haven't heard anything else since.

cancelled? damn. I'm in that camp of people who know the game was flawed but still got fun out of it. really wanted a sequel to enjoy playing it and see if wet's loose ends got tied up.

I hope its better than the first one, it was fun to start with, but then started to get a little boring.

It'd be interesting to see if it gets picked back up. Wasn't the worst game and the music, like many people say, was fantastic. Fingers crossed.

Such a shame that it appears to be cancelled, I was pissed when I found that out. For all its flaws, the first was one of the most outright fun games I've ever played. I think I may have to pop it back in sooner or later.

Last news I was able to dig up it is still canceled. Don't worry folks as the odds of this sequel coming out compared to Shenmue III is very high. Wouldn't surprise me if a Wet 2 popped up on the enxt gen console.

WET was a decent game, I enjoyed it quite a bit. It didn't deserve all the hate and bad reviews it got. Another reason why I don't base what I buy on reviews. I look forward to the sequel

I enjoyed WET as well. I thought it was okay! I almost completed it 100%. Only needed like 4 more achievements.. Although, i never went back to obtain them. But, it was a fun game.
