Hardcore achievement didn't unlock, why?

Me and my brother beat it on Contractor and he's the only one who got the achievement...what did I do wrong? That was reaaaaaaaally hard. Could we just beat that one level again, but this time with me as the first controller? Or do I need to do another playthrough on Contractor, but as first controller?

do u have the dlc
if you do you have to play those chapters on contractor

Was the difficulty at Contractor for both players? If not, only one of you gets the achievement.

We have now beaten the game twice on contractor and only player 1 has gotten the achievement. WTF. Am I the only one?
