two questions about relics and the extras menu

ok first question..how exactly do you get the relics. in the first chapter second level, i found the health gem, but how do i know if ive found the relic?

second question..in the extras menu there are some options like show enemies health bars and gabriels health recovery. if i turn this on will it disable achievements? i dunno what the health recovery one actually does but i would asume that your health recovers over time?

you ll get the relics by defeating certain bosses, that is, the lords of shadows. as you progress youll come across certain areas that cant be reached or whatever. that is because you need to give the game a secong playthrough no matter what. so just keep playing and dont worry about getting or missing stuff cuz youll get the relics by natural progression. once youve beaten the game for the first time youll be fully equipped (except for a couple of upgrades maybe) to get to wherever you couldnt reach before.

I turned the enemies health bar just to see homw much damage the first spider i fought was taking because it was giving me a really hard time. i didnt turn on any of the others but i've seen them in videos. i dont think theyll prevent you from getting the achievements. i mean, they wont. as for the health recovery, i dunno if you can do that. in my case grabriel wouldnt recover on his own but also, i didnt turn on that option, so, i dunno

ps. if your press select (back, call it what you will) youll go to your inventory where you can check out how many gems you have until the next update as well as relics, combos and bestiary.
