Worked for me got it after my first or second present from him. Got one after getting married, slept with him and he gave me another. Then checked and had it.

Thank you OneSweetShannon, I looked in Bowerstone Old Quarter out near the beaches. There are two dive spots, the one you mentioned and a nother on the other side. Mine was on the left instead of the right. Others should check this out to see if it's fixed or not.

This worked for me after about 25 gifts
 . but still worked THXNow all i need is Queen's suit and Women's Masquerade Suit, if anyone can help with them my GT: MeLveU LongTime P.S. i will give chefs hat to anyone once i get the achievement or any other suit they need |

I have a female hero and wed 3 of them and got one on about the 9th gift. Only issue is I have one cook left and divorce the other which they have vanished :/

This works for me! Played as a female, married a chef, every two days check presents, and around 10 gifts later I got the hat!

i tried all those locations mentioned, no chef hat
 i made the only (1) chef in my game my best friend.. and the stingy bastard won't give me any gifts. to top it off.. my character is female and the stupid chef is gay! so the marry trick won't work.. just starting a new game.. hopefully something will turn up. anyone else have any tips? |

You all seem to have a hard time getting this hat, I feel kind of sorry for you. It was way easier for me because I never interacted with the Chef but since my Moral is 100% good a lot of NPCs want to give me presents, the Chef too. I took the present...it was the hat.

there is a dig spot for the chef's hat, right outside of one of the furniture stores. It's the one underneath the stone archway, I forget what town. Damn.

Finally, a FAST way to get the bloody hat!!
When you download the Understone pack, if you go into the "Sandgoose Museum" house, there is a hatch that leads to the basement. Inside a chest is the Cook's Hat. Has been there for a couple of tries now, so it seems to be a constant, at least on my system and two accounts... MUCH faster than marrying the cook -- I was at least 40 gifts in and getting nowhere.

I've been at this for weeks, all 4 male chefs on my game are straight. Ive married 4 of the women from the kitchen and best friended all the male chefs.
If anyone could borrow me one it would be greatly appreciated, I have all of the other clothes so I can pass it straight back when the achievement has popped. GT - Welsh Rambo Cheers

I got 2 problems right here..
1.) I cant select the castle as my family home 2.) If i take another home the cook doesnt give me a hat if i sleep with him 2 times.. the first time he did, afterwards nothing anymore.. and i slept like 20 times with him!? Gosh this is the last outfit i need -.-
