Quantum Theory — does it have future as an IP?

Back in January, Tecmo had Plans to establish Quantum Theory as a "third pillar" besides their strong IPs Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden. It was sort of their try to appeal to everyone, the japanese market (story), the american market (gameplay), even the female market (character of Filena).

It would interest me if Quantum Theory was a failure for Tecmo.
(Which it almost certainly was, unfortunately)

All i could find where rough estimates of it's first week of Sales in Japan, where the PS3 Version sold something less than 6.000 copies.

Does anyone have other Sales numbers? Just curious.

I rented it through GameFly and so far its a blatant Gears of War rip off. With terrible voice actors and graphics.
