Whats the best drumset?

So i'm going to be getting Rock Band 3 soon and i'm a drummer. I'm wondering which drum set everyone seems to find the best, feedback is much appreciated =)

If you don't own an electronic kit, the Ion kit is probably the best if you can still get it. If you own an electronic kit you can get the MIDI Pro box and use that for drums. Those are the best options. The official RB3 kit is little more than a toy, and can be hard to use for drummers.

I am not a drummer.. but I have an ion kit... doesn't seem to miss a beat when I can hit them RB drums.. Missed notes all the time.. Obviously if you can afford a better electronic kit then that would be better.. but for the price ion's work very well..

Depends on your budget I guess. I haven't used IONs but understand they are very good, but they also come with a high price tag.
I've got the original RB drums on PS3 and they work fine, don't appear to drop notes etc although it's been a while since I used them.
For RB3/Xbox I have the Madcatz portable kit stuck onto the PS3 kit. For the price (less than £10) they are great. They don't drop notes. The only thing that stops me FC'ing harder songs is my ability.

So, if you are a serious player and have the money I'd suggest IONs or a proper electric kit with a midi adapter. If you want to play for fun then there is nothing wrong with the cheaper/official kits.
