Named teams = Builds up team power faster?

From MADasahatter's guide on these forums on his guide about Hidan he mentions that "Immortal Duo (Hidan+Kakuzu)" builds up more team support.

So here's my question, does named teams build up the team power gauge faster than "Originals" teams? I know if you only have 1 support that Support gives more team power boost and got a lower cooldown before you can use them again.

But about the team gauge I never knew, is it true or false?

well, try using rock lee and might guy, u'll be amazed at how fast support gauge and support drive fills....

Does it fill faster than anyone else who uses only one support?

Basically, named teams do build up support quicker. And some do appear to be better than others. Also, i'm not 100% positive on this, but i believe the named teams of 2 are even quicker at building up than teams of 3. Basically, the best teams are the ones which obviously fit, for example:
-Naruto and Minato
-Lee and Guy
-Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi.

teams of two are not always better than teams of three. if the team of three only has three possible members(sannin for example) it has the same amount of dots(6) as the duos. teams of three with lots of options like akatsuki and leef peers have 5 dots, while originals have 4.

there are three catagories of dots, one of which i assume is team meter recharge, and if anyone can elaborate on what they are ill be grateful to hear it

Yes, the team bar does fill up x2 if you have a named team with 1 support! If you have a named team with 3, their stats are only better.

I love using Rock Lee and Guy but also Tobi and Deidara.

If your support attacks and the enemy blocks, it fills 1/4 of one bar if it hits you get 2/4 or 1/2 of a bar which means 25%. sure, depends on the team but it fills much faster than normal.

So, four-six direct hits with the only support character in your team and the team bar is full. (since there are to bars).
