Yeah lets hope so. There is a ton of old CAVE shmups just waiting to be released on the XBLA.

And being CAVE Guwange could feature some real nasty achievements... :3

Hello guys, yeah I hear ya, since were anxiously waiting for its Nov. 10 release at the price of 800MSP, and the way CAVE games are, yeah, its probably gonna be a tough 200 though. With also the variety of modes to play in, such as Arcade, Arrange, and Blue Label.

And don't worry, DoDonPachi Daifukusatsu will be released on the 25th, the Pink/Pork 2-disk set, Raidient Silvergun, Trouble Witches Neo, DeathSmiles EU, and plenty more Shumps will be released in 2011.

It be out! Get.. Now.

. It's decent... 3 achievements first run. It's a bit frustrating at times... The levels sometimes restrict where you can go. Not complaining... Just not what I'm used to for a bullet he'll type game. Worth it in my opinion. 7/10.

so are the achievements "nasty" as Helg0r suggested or not?

i took a look at the list but i can´t tell if the combo ones and 25.000.000 score are hard, since i am not used to this game´s scoring system. also, there are 4 secret ones.
it´s weird to see a shmup without a 1cc achievement

I discovered one of the secret ones. I was shocked to see there wasn't one for beating the game w/o using bombs (which I tried since KoF: Sky Stage had that achievement).

So far, a fun game & I've been enjoying it, especially since 1 hit DOESN'T mean you're dead.

What Secret one did you find? what did you have to do?

It was the 10G one. It's called "With Love from Guwange-Sama..." & the description is "Suffer a noble defeat by Guwange-Sama", which is the final boss. I died on the part where it looks like a giant baby & I got the achievement.

Once I get the chance, I'll beat the game w/ the 3rd character (Gensuke) & the 3rd mode (Arrange Xbox 360) and see if that gets anything for beating the game w/ all characters &/or all modes.

You don't get any achievement for beating the game with all characters (only the respective character achievement). I haven't touched Arrange Blue yet so maybe clearing all modes will give you something?
Knowing CAVE's achievement lists I can only guess that one of them is something like 1cc the game with all characters or 1cc all game modes but this doesn't need to be true.

However I can confirm that one of the secret achievements is Score 50.000.000 points. So that leaves two to figure out x3

is scoring this amount of points hard in this game? normally secret achievements are awarded for doing some awkward stuff (like the one Zonic505 discovered), but now you gave me some hope to find a hard one disguised as a secret achievement

well it depends on in which mode you play :P
Arcade and Arrange Blue are quite hard to properly score in but Arrange 360 is definitely not that bad... I did A LOT of mistakes during the run and ended up with a score of 60mil

and I might add that clearing all modes doesn't give you anything either...

A lot of mistakes from Toxik Helg0r means a perfect run for most people here (including me)

I can't wait trying this game as soon as I get back from work

Cool, glad we know clearing all modes or characters isn't one of the secret achievements. Kind of fun trying to figure what the secret achievements are.

Yeah or even pausing on and off fast like in the Death Smiles games.
The 50G is it any kind of 1cc achievement?

Thanks for showing the great statue location. I was getting annoyed of not being able to find it...

Edit: Got it. You're suppose to destroy the Great Statue WITHOUT destroying any of the small ones.....Um, why was that not in the description when the achievement was locked??

Well, someone has posted the last 2, and I can't confirm though if its true, but he posted its (True) Final Boss releated and its without taking damage/dying/no-miss.

Yeah I think so. I've destroyed every statue and didn't get any cheevo... Pure luck

Will try that later.

I only need the great statue and 2 secret achievements... nice game btw
