The news has been that it's coming out on the 12th to coincide with the GOTY edition release.

I've got the claptrap dlc but refuse to play it until the cap rises and achievement glitch is fixed.

I played through the new DLC without hearing about any glitches, then figured something was up when I collected triple plus of all of the collectibles. I'm waiting for the patch to come out and hoping that the achievements retroactivily appear. It worked for Zombie Island, so hopefully the same thing will happen with this one. If not, I'll give it one more go before I give up on 100% these cheevos.

Hopefully it's soon, but it will likely be released with the Game of the Year edition.

Good to hear it's coming out on the 12th. Hit 61 once I killed General Knoxx for the first run through of the armory. Got a few quests to hand in but been waiting for the patch XD. Until then, been doing Motorhead runs to get my backup weapon proficiencies up.

If you don't know about it, look for The Chopper. It's basically a Machine Gun version of an Anarchy, but it has 520 clip and unloads the whole clip.

No I am not insane, this is an actual gun.

Thanks for the info, im almost level 61 with just Crawmerax to beat in the armoury and the Robolution to finish on PT2 so think im going to wait for the patch to level up and hopefully make Crawmerax slightly easier

Already found The Chopper. I really didn't like it XD I made my Soldier class into a Support Gunner, so he essentially has 130% bigger clip sizes for combat rifles, which means my 1120 SDU for combat rifles doesn't even fill up one clip of that gun :P

Also, I burn through all the bullets in about 10 seconds if I just fire it without letting it stop haha.

To reiterate what a few others have stated, the level cap increase as well as the retroactive achievement glitch patch seems to be slated to release tomorrow (October 12th) to coincide with the release of the GOTY Edition of Borderlands.

I too have been stubbornly holding out to play the DLC until the level cap increase drops. Cannot wait!

Been holding off on Play Through 2 till level cap change...I really hope it happens tomorrow. Don't want to wait for 19th, since Fallout:New Vegas comes out 18th.

Luckily for me Fallout doesnt come out until the 22nd so i'll have a bit of time with this patch

The Borderlands Wiki still has 50 minutes on the countdown, so I am hoping and praying that around 1:00 PM EST there will be a nice little patch to download when I boot up Borderlands in my 360.

EDIT: Whelp, no freaking update sooooooooo I guess we have to wait another week. This is just ridiculous.

Agreed 100%, how the heck do you release a goty, with a known facts of a defect on the loose (collectibles)

hey purchase our game but make sure you do the collectibles in the order we suggest

ps: i have all the items & achievements.
but this level cap is much waited for as for me it would be like playing an whole nother game blah

where are you getting the 19th from? There haven't been any announcements (as far as I know) and patches can come any day of the week, not specifically tuesday. Tuesday is for new released dlc.

Same here. Don't even have all of the previous DLC done. Waiting for the level increase to continue playing it.

If it does come out at the same time as Fallout:NV then I guess it will be a while before I play Borderlands again.

I put a link in my post. It is in the final stages of the QA testing, meaning it is coming very soon. That's all we can say for now.
