Study Abroad Programs

So, this is my first semester of college and I'm loving it so far. I've always wanted to do a study abroad program, and the earlier I start to plan it out - the better.

My problem? Too many places to choose from!

I do not speak a foreign language, and I have never been out of the country - so I'm trying to choose somewhere where there wont be a large culture shock for me. (I live in America, and I speak American. haha)

Our main programs are in...

London

Nagasaki, Japan
Newcastle, Australia
Rome, Italy
Seville, Spain
Suva, Fiji

But there are a million other options to choose from.

So my question to you is... WHERE DO I GO?!

Heres a link of all the programs, locations, etc.

I'm most interested in Italy, England, and Australia (so far).

Opinions? Help? Please?

My major is Criminal Justice (emphasis with Forensic Investigation), and im finding a lot of the programs dont offer that - so i might just do some general ed classes instead.

Im thinking of either an 8 week program, or a full semester. I was thinking it would be good to go during the summer so i can actually enjoy my time there haha, i get enough snow in the states.

some study abroad programs may be tailored towards certain majors. make sure to check the programs to make sure that they offer something relevant towards your major.

i never had the chance to study abroad because of required classes that i had to take. but if i could have gone, i definitely would have chosen australia because of the great marine biology programs.

Man, Rome is amazing. But that would be culture shock considering they, ya know, speak Italian there. If you want English speakers, I'd say go to Australia. I've always wanted to visit there.

Study abroad does seem pretty cool. Just visiting somewhere is pretty cool in itself.
