Anyone else sad for no awards?
I was kind of hoping Valve would throw in a few avatar awards with this DLC like they did with The Passing. Maybe a beret for Kill Bill or a pet tank for Chaos Generator. Anyone else wanted this too or have your own thoughts for what you would have liked?

Valve definately fell short with the cheevz and insentives. They put in No Mercy but no reason to play it. After i get the 5 i can delete it off my drive anyway.
Cool awards cud have been infected halloween costumes or a Kill Bill t-shirt. Oh well opportunity lost

I thought The Sacrifice was worth the money, the campaign was neither short or long. The achievements was mediocre and I really think that they should have added avatar awards.

A "Kill Bill" T-shirt would have been sick Avatar award! Thought the DLC was good bit too short and the achievements were okay! Easy 250 x

Why exactly?
the PC doesn't get awards.... and i think we got enough in the awards department. no game has given us the generous amount of avatar stuffs like valve has.... so be grateful and don't cry about it, you got no mercy. some people get incredibly greedy when they are used to getting nice things.

I'd like to have a witch that sits next to your avatar and slowly gets up and looks like shes getting angry but instead hugs you lol

i am. they kinda crapped out on achievements, too. last time, we got 8, with easier ones being less. this time, just 5, all worth 50g each. im not complaining but it seems very lazy on their part.
on top of which, no awards. however, the gnome, i believe, was supposed to be released with the original game, not as part of dlc, which would make more sense. hmmm.... |
