The following is a run through I did and the times when missions appeared. I killed everyone as soon as they appeared to make space for everyone to load (only 8 survivors can be in the world at one time, and they wont load if your in the room they load in at the time of loading)

1 group didnt load on this playthrough (marked in itallics) and im unsure why that was, Its possible that while I got no call, they did load.

EDIT: Every playthrough at least 1 mission doesnt get a phonecall. If you dont get a phone call, and there arent 8 survivors outside the safehouse running around, go to the location and the survivors will probably be there.

Comes up as a mission 'Know when to Fold 'em' i think. Best thing about this game is it helps with time management, my 1st play through i didn't have 'Brains over Brawn' come up so missed the 4 nerds straight away and never went to Yucatan Casino so didn't see Ted, Snowflake or Lenny...

You might want to add a little bit of extra text onto the four sniper psychos just incase people get confused if they try to kill them in different orders. In order to get Derick to show up you need to kill either Johnny or Big Earl first, then once Derick has showed up you then need to go and kill him which should leave Deetz to be the last sniper psycho to spawn. I know its not that much of an issue but I guess it could help a little.

just rescue the other survivors a bit quicker and the call will come. There is a max. of 8 survivors you can rescue at once. When you already got 5 survivors that you can rescue the call won't come because the nerds are a group of four.

I never noticed this at the time but for some reason numbers 49,113,114,115 have NOT registered on my notebook even though ive done them. Anyone have any clue as to why?

In order to get Derick to show up you need to kill either Johnny or Big Earl first, then once Derick has showed up you then need to go and kill him which should leave Deetz to be the last sniper psycho to spawn. I think this may be an issue with only 8 people loading at one time. I could be wrong but I think both the tape it or die crew and these 4 psycho's load at the same time, filling your 8 max limit, so if anyone else is allready loaded the others couldnt. Could be wrong though

Sure you didnt die and reload at some point and forget about redoing them? Both groups (49), and (113, 114, 115) are survivors that dont get a call telling you about them

I got the Achieve pop after i found Deetz but are the Tape it or Die lot supposed to be saved? I made the combo weapon for them and thats the most thats happened, they just kept saying the same text repeatedly and wouldn't follow. Guessing i missed something...

They will not follow you in Case 4, you have to leave the basement there hiding in and carry on your play through. Then at the beginning of Case 6-1 you will get a call and a mission pop up telling you that the Tape it or Die people require assistance in the exact same shop.


*Spineless, I have just completed another two play throughs without rescuing a single survivor or even getting them to follow me, plus I have not even bothered visiting the Tape it or Die people and yet only the Sniper Psychos Johnny and Big Earl have showed up. I then killed them in the exact same way as I mentioned in my previous post and the exact same things happened they appeared after the previous one was killed.

Just because you didnt visit them doesnt mean they arent loaded...

I just killed them all, when I get back to playing and the snipers load up I will check to see if I can visit and kill Derrick first.

Going to suggest an order to kill the guys in anyhows though

EDIT: Yup you were right, Derrick didnt load up.

these are pretty much just in the order they appear, for notebook completion for the brains trust achievement.

but the order would work for getting the 50 survivors achievement.

My first playthrough I got the 50 survivors upon rescueing the 4 tape it or die members, and I then found 6 survivors I missed on my second playthrough. So there is plenty of wiggle room

Its open until at least 6pm. When you reach the door if it says examine it is still locked. when it's unlocked it says tape it or die.

It opened for me right after I gave katey her zombrex for that day, so maybe that has something to do with it...

day 2 after 8:00 am as long as there are less than 6 other survivors running around in the world (loads with 2 others)

You can fill it in multiple playthroughs, as soon as you have no ??? in your notebook you will get the achievement.

One more annoying question, how many possible survivors are there to save? I'm trying to get the "Save 50 survivors" achievement on this run through but spent almost four hours last night trying and failing to beat those three b*stards at poker, so if I can brutally murder them in revenge for the time they've wasted and still get the achievement I will be very happy.
