List of Known Credit Boosting Methods

I decided to compile a list of boosting methods that the community has found. I'll provide links to the individual threads that explain them. Be sure to post them here and i will add them to the OP, because we only know a couple as of now. But keep in mind, when you hit Silver level on a commendation, kills associated with that commendation will stop earning you Cr. So eventually, a given boosting method will stop working for you. So that's why i wanted to start a public list so we'll always have a fall back when our personal favorite stops earning us Cr. I'll list what kind of kills are usually effected by the boost, so you'll know when you should stop. Expect updates at least twice a day, if the content is available.

Gruntpacolypse Farming
Gruntpacolypse cam be accessed by going to Matchmaking>Firefight>Score Attack>Gruntpacolypse. You will be the only player in the lobby, so picking Gruntpacolypse will be a guarantee. Basically, you go around headshotting grunts, gaining sprees and multikills. At the end, you can usually get an average of 1250, but the more commendations you get, the better the Cr amount. The video provided uses Corvette, but keep voting out the maps until you reach the one you do best on.

Affected Commendations (Gruntpacolypse)
The following commendations are effected and eventually rendered useless by Gruntpacolypse:

Numbers Game: Earn any kind of multikill in Firefight.

Dome Inspector: Headshot an enemy in Firefight.

Methodical: Earn any kind of spree in Firefight.

Target Practice: Kill an infantry-class enemy in Firefight.

Longshot: Kill an enemy with a precision weapon in Firefight.

ONI Sword Base Fireworks
To start off, I DID NOT find this boost. This one was found and recorded by another community member, Cable Player. Included below is a link to a video on how to use this boost, so i'll list just the commendations. Remember to turn on all gold skulls except black eye and iron.

Affected Commendations (ONI Sword Base Fireworks)
The following commendations are effected and eventually rendered useless.

Splash Damage: Kill an enemy with a heavy weapon in Campaign.

Banshee Killing

This method involves killing a large number of banshees then restarting the checkpoint. It was first mentioned by Frank_The_Bison, and now a video on file share has been provided by Wrog. I'll include a link to that file below.This boost can affect things like kill sprees and streaks, but that is not it's main purpose, so i'm going to not list those.

Affected Commendations

Flawless Cowboy
This method was first discovered by LifeExpectancy, and now a video has been provided by TheFalcon. Thanks to TheFalcons perfect video, i don't even have to make a commendations section. Just use this video. Thanks to LifeExpectancy and TheFalcon. Enjoy the boost folks!

Nice Arm
This is a boost found and proven by LifeExpectancy. We could still use a video to put on here, but for now, i'll just provide a link to his thread explaining it. Everything you need to know can be found there.

Headshots
Here's a methods that was provided by spec_ops71, and now a video and fileshare version has been provided kegonomics. The video itself is pretty self-explanatory. This is one of the slower boosts, but it works. Something seems to be wrong with embedding the videos, so you'll have to deal with a link till i can fix it.

Get Loud
Here is a boosting method that comes from SyndemicX, regarding the Get Loud commendation. Below I'll throw in a link to a fileshare, but we could use a video.

Just a question aboutGruntpacolypse and the Commendations.

You mention the Campaign commendations are rendered useless... but aren't the commendations used for Gruntpacolypse actually the Firefight commendations? So they would have no bearing on Campaign whatsoever? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure that's the case. I've never gotten any Campaign commendations during Firefight, and vice versa.

Just wondering, is gruntpacolypse better than doing sniper attack? I've done a few on Corvette and Courtyard which seem to work well, but see a lot of people doing Gruntpacolypse.

Vehicle Kill Boosting In Campaign.

Long Night Of Solace: Alpha Checkpoint: Kill all but one of the first set of banshees that spawn, reload checkpoint and repeat.

It does take a long time to get any of the commendations, but it is by far the quickest way to kill vehicles in the campaign that I have seen.

That's all for now. When you're looking for boosts, remember to look for things like checkpoint exploits that will add to a less used commendation so we can use that particular boost longer. And of course, if you post here and i use it, i will give credit. Even if you yourself didn't find the boost, i'll credit you with bringing it to our attention. How about the farming vehicle kills method?
Commendation: "The Right of Way"
You load up "Pillar of Autumn" Rally point Bravo and get to where the Mac Gun is, shoot at the Phantoms and Banshees until the covenant ship is about to fire and then revert to last checkpoint to start destroying more vehicles. It doesn't give tons of credits but its the way to go if you want to get this commendation up.

theres a difference there. those are games i played over the course of a few years, and enjoyed them for what they were. i didnt go to the extent of trying to cheat my way on them in the shortest amount of time possible, which is clearly what they are trying to do here.

just play the friggin game, if you actually like it and play it for some time, you'll earn those credits. sure not right away, but it does beat the boring grinding you're going to do otherwise.

Like myself, I think many other players enjoy playing Gruntpocalypse. Nothing's as refreshing as seeing a poof of confetti exit a Grunt's head when a bullet enters it. Claiming it's boring and or a grind is entirely your opinion; there's been quite a few people who've said Gruntpocalypse or any other type of Score Attack gametype is rather enjoyable; if people want to get an insane amount of credits while doing something they enjoy, let them.

Calling people who enjoy playing these gametypes for rewards "low and pathetic" really only reflects back onto you.

yeah, when it comes down to it, i guess it really is bungie's fault, kinda threw my words out without really thinking about it.

technically, i guess no one is doing anything wrong, other than taking advantage of a certain gametype or two, which is bungies fault for creating such gametypes. then they are banning players for that too? for using a system they created?

bungie should at least have a disclaimer of some kind. other than quit too many and your banned.

i for one should be unhappy with bungie, not the players only playing the game and getting the most out of it any way they want and can. so, sorry guys, and really, i should be (and am) hating on bungie. good thing this is their last halo title, sure seems like they got lazy with it too.

I finish gruntapocalypse games faster than sniper attack, but I do both because only doing gruntapocalypse gets pretty repetitive

They've stated they don't ban for playing a certain gametype too much, only if you use the reset daily challanges glitch

For gruntaocalypse it's corvette. Sniper attack either corvette or courtyard (run over the bridge, turn right, run till the end, then all enemies walk up the stairs except for the flying ones).
