Haven't yet tried Death Star 2 undefeated, but when I pick this game up again I'll try it. Everyone else seems to think it works, hopefully it will for me too. Thanks!

Almost made it. In the final part, I dont know how but I hit something and blew up, trying to escape from the blast. Sucks. But at least I got further. The tip was good but I just need better execution.

Oh my! I totally meant to post my thanks for this method! I 100%'ed the game a few weeks ago. ^_^
Though my rubber band hated me, and took a lot of finagling to stay in place. UGH. |

I finally did it. props to the OP. this trick is great, but even so, the 2nd death star level was hard enough that I just needed to practice a bit.

Bleh. Without the rubber band trick I get to the core 50% of the time. Now I always get there, but I've still died in there at least 20 times.
Anything I'm doing wrong? The OP says to use the Falcon, but I don't see why. I'm lucky if I can kill one of the wall things with the Falcon. Edit: Wow. I swear this game hates me. I just tried it again, made it all the way, and the game froze before it gave me the achievement. Really. Edit: Took me a few more deaths. Finally figured out what I was doing wrong with the electro-wall thingys. But I made it. Ugh. This is even worse than Mile High Club on CoD4. Last edited by zyxomma100; 12-06-2008 at 10:55 PM. |

This worked great thanks for the post. I used tape instead of a rubber band. I found it worked better for me, but the x button was a bit sticky

Yeah I never posted an update. I got the achievement a couple of months ago. Died once on the escape, but I got it the next time through. Thanks!

Thanks a ton for the tip. I put this game on the shelf a very long time ago but decided to give it another try after reading this. Third try, no problem!

It worked like a charm. Thanks! Took me only one try for Death Star I & II! About 3 times for the snow speeder level and like 2 times for Falcon Flight.

Appreciate the tip! Between this and the other strategy on the boards I was able to get this my third time through. Would have had it the first time had I not got hung up on the wall in the last bit.

---------------------------------------- Haven't yet gotten this far with the girlfriend (playing the game together), but I don't see why you can't just keep your figure on X the whole time and just press "A" a bunch of times... it's the basics of any Mario game. If that doesn't work, I'll use this rubberband as a lucky charm =P |
