if it's the last achievement you need, try starting a brand new game on a new save file. If it doesn't work, try deleting all the saves and doing it then. Sure you'll lose your saved levels for carrying over to the full game, but this isn't exactly a dull game and doing it again will be fun

I've got a bit of a problem with the shed key, I can't find it. When you say garbage can by fire escape, I assume you mean the broken off stairs you have to jump to. I do that, go into the building and there's 2 rooms, I've checked both and I can't find the key anywhere. Does it only appear after a certain time or after talking to/rescuing one of the survivors?

n/m, I got it now, had to rescue pawn shop dude first.

I haven't read all the posts, so forgive me if it's already said.

For the "Small Town, Deep Pockets" achievement, you don't have to spend all those $100.000 in one play through, and you will keep the money you have when you start a new game. So save Gemini, get her Shiny things and restart...That's what I did.

Easy Money Slot Machine

In the casino, look for the slot machine with a cow on it. If you pony up $100 dollars to gamble you are guaranteed to win the first 5 times.

Not the best guide, few minor things that are wrong. One for example is with the survivors, you say Sharon is in the tent closest to the road. She's not, she's in the second tent from the road. The gems you have to pick up for Gemini, you say they are on the 'ride' side of the road, but again they aren't, they would be considered in the center of the road, or even the left side.

Like i said, very minor things though, other then that its a good guide

Jk, you really could have worded that differently. I accept when I make minor errors, in fact I encourage people to point them out so I can correct them. I would fix the map but I'm sure most people would just assume I meant in the camp. If someone were in the wrong tent, I really doubt it'd ruin their chances of finding Sharon and the gems, when saying right side, I meant to the right of traffic.

However some of the wording mislead me at times. For example, Darcie Blackrock's description stated to go to her then to Bob. This mislead me to believe she would spawn at sometime after 7 and I'd talk to her then Bob; not Bob then her then Bob.

Thanks for this guide, it'll make short work of getting the achievements sorted then I can finally start playing DR2 with my lvl 5 character. Absolutely loved the first game (even though I could only scrounge up 700gs on it).

man, I'm having a difficult time with my last achievement "Survivors." For the life of me the only 3 I need are the two chicks in the bowling alley and the one in the quarantine camp, but they just don't every show up at 1:00 pm... any ideas?

Loving the guide. It was really, really helpful. That one part about the Gemini side mission was misleading but then I found earlier in the page during the survivor part that you told the exact location. I don't know if you want to change the other part to the part about the yellow car.

The guide was absolutely great. The only troubles I had was killing Jed. I had to use the sniper first then i used melee. Sniper probably brought him down to 20% health =)
