Help me! Can`t download update

I have to update Tinker to play it but I keep getting error 0X80072751. I´m connected to internet, I have tried to disable firewall and antivirus. I have also forwarded every necessary ports and I have UPnP enabled, I have tried wired and wireless connection. My OS is windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2 and my Games for windows live is updated. I can`t find any solutions from internet so I´m asking help from you

EDIT: I got it working but I have no idea how... I tried so many things

I also had problems updating the game and the only way it worked for me was updating the game manually. Check this folder: C:\programs\Microsoft Games\Tinker there are 3 files that need to be replaced/updated:

Tinker.dat
Tinker.exe.cat
Tinker.exe.cfg

You can get the files from a friend who managed to update the game properly, other pc, internet, etc.

I'm having the same problem as well, and I don't know what you mean by updating it manually, how do you do that? I don't have any friends that have played this game.

Edit: never mind, it worked after several tries.
