achievement NOT unlocked!

I am new to windows live games so Tinker is the first game i am playing. No achievements are unlocking. I have read all posts on what achievements are glitched, I am not unlocking any achievements at all. Any reason why? Please help unlock my achievements!

Are you making sure to play the Games for Windows Live version of the game and not the Windows Vista Ultimate Edition version of the game?

There's no indication of Tinker on his gamertag, so I'm going to say that he is playing the Windows Vista UE Tinker and not the Games for Windows Live one.

Anyways, xxxxDESPAIRxxxx. If you want the version of Tinker that you'll be able to earn achievements in (assuming you don't have it). You'll first need to download the Games for Windows Live Client which can be found HERE. After having downloaded/installed the client you will find Tinker for free download from within.

thank you for the replies! Achievements are now unlocking! I was not signed into live while I was playing, just signed in. Didnt know I had to join live. Did the game update and working fine! Thanx again everyone!
