So I have been learning to make sigs for a week now and feel comfortable with the ins and outs of photoshop so if anyone would like to request a sig then feel free to do so.

If you do request one and I make it please credit me underneath that sig. Thank you

This is quite a good start - However, the avatar one doesn't work as a pop out, as where the image has "popped out" the picture just ends. (Along the arrow.)

You've got a good couple starter sigs, you just need to read some tutorials to pick up some of the easy techniques, which can make a huge difference to a tag.

Not a bad start. Got some advice for you on your popouts.

1. think carefully about your choice of render. try to find ones without anything cut off. The avatar one doesn't work as the hand and arrow are cut off and the dragonball one in your sig has goku's hair cutoff at the top.

2. watch out for the edges of your canvas when creating a popout. In the dragonball one in your sig you can clearly see the edges of the effect along the left and top (use eraser tool to fix this :D ). It's sometimes better to start with a larger canvas than your sig needs and crop it later on.

3. A good tip when creating popouts is to create 2 extra layers (one white and one black) so you can regularly check your design against different BG as sometimes things show up on different BG's. Just remember to delete these layers before you save your final piece.

EDIT: This might explain it better

http://i362.photobucket.com/albums/oo65/SeedyEvil/Gundam%20Tutorial/example.png

as you can see the first image looks fine until you put it against a black BG.

Hope this helps. KIU

Thanks for the tips i have reworked the goku one so it does'nt cut off his hair and I have erased the effect that you spotted, it defineately looks alot better so thanks again.

Good job mate. You've listened well to the advice I gave about popouts. Got a couple of bits to help you make em even better. On your latest ones (Spiderman & Avatar) it looks like you've used the motion blur filter. It looks fine but I would maybe lower the opacity of the blurred layer a bit. I would then smudge or erase the area of your render where it meets the blur (in the case of the two sigs this would be areas like the back of Spideys head or the bottom edge of the wings on Ikran) and then do the same to same areas at the edge of the blur effect (the back edge of the blur on Spideys head or the very bottom of the blur on the wings). It should need too much & remeber to smudge/erase in the same direction as the motion blur. This should give it a bit more "motion" by breaking up the solid edges a little. (this can be difficult to get right btw so just stick with it :D ).

Hope I've explained this ok for you. KIU

Your sig are okay, my only tip is to completely hide multiple renders that are the same, like your Hulk sig. I could see a lot of the same parts in the background. But yeah read some tuts and they'll make your life a lot easier. Better than experimenting. You remind me a lot of myself in terms of style.
