Howler and Repugnant Achievements

So every time I try for howler and repugnant achievements Im not awarded for it and I've tried tons of time but it doesnt work the only one that does is the hobbe one, and even when im with my friend it doesnt work, anyone got a suggestion?

Dont use expressions for the fear. Use magic, only one quick burst will do. With the other i used the middle finger expression. Hope that helps.
