Hard to attain - Hidden Orbs

Following the amazing guide put together by Achievement Hunters, which can be found here:

Some of the hidden orbs can still be a pain & hard to find.

At the moment the guys putting together the videos to each orb are behind with a fair few completed already for the agility orbs.

So it is with this until they update their guide is anyone able to help one another find those tricky hidden orbs.

For me I'm having difficulty with:

Hope Springs South

Hidden Orbs: #w #y #jj #kk

Any help with how to find these 4 would be greatly appreciated.

I can hear the orbs & pretty much all of those 4 I named are at ground level, I'm assuming they're under the road but I'm unsure how to get there.

Anyway feel free to post up the hidden orbs you're having problems with & hopefully we can all help each other out.

Found w & y just jj & kk to go.

There was a underground complex. Going to search the same for jj & kk.


EDIT: Yup worked a treat, it's just underground tunnels, look inside the middle of block of buildings of jj & kk, simple tunnel system for pedestrians.

good luck on ur search.. i found all 500 agility and found 225 hidden without a guide.. hopefully i can find some more before i gotta just straight hunt for them cuz thats when it gets annoying =\

Made that mistake in Crackdown 1 so sticking to a guide, it saves a lot of time & hassle.

Now can't figure Unity Heights South #ii & #jj.

Looked high & low, searched "a" tunnel but doesn't lead underneath the right building.

Not many left now though.

You go know you can see where the orbs are hidden if you press start and go to achievements and highlight the hidden orbs achievement. You don't need a guide for that, it's that easy. You only have to figure out if they are on the ground level or higher up.

Nooooooooooooo way, after 298 hidden orbs + 500 agility orbs + renegade orbs = I never knew that.


Sarcasm aside, it's the figuring which is high & low can be a pain, most (298 of them) are stupidly easy but the only real problem I've had is these ii & jj in Unity Heights, last two to get.

EDIT: Unbelievable, after searching again this time they sounded (the humming/glowing noise), it's one of those just like CD1 when time effects the appearance, already had one hidden orb earlier do the same, first it wasn't there then it was at night as I was collecting others around it, hadn't had it checked off & thought it must have been misplaced on the map.

Anyway those last 2, #ii & #jj were inside the building covered by the blue glass, it's not visible through the glass so you have to find a smash on the other side of the building in the glass, jump in & go round.

A part from the captain obvious' you get around here on x360a who are no help what so ever as usual, well done me & thank you me for the help, special thanks to achievement hunters & SideDish120 for creating the achi guide.

Does any one know how to get "i" and "h" on greenbay south? They are both on the beach.

There's a cluster of rocks onear the orbs, south of the orbs to be precise, if you jump to the top of them some where around there is an entrance, a cave.

Follow the tunnels & you should find them.

Those are just like the first Crackdown.

I am missing one of the obrb in Unity Heights and I follow the map and it missing one of them on the map

Well if you mean the map on achievement hunters, the interactive one, it's spot on. I got every agility, hidden & renegade, no problems.

i cant seem to locate the one on the ground of the agency tower. I can jump outside the wall and see it through a little tiny window like thing, but when I go inside the complex, I cant figure out how to get where the hidden orb is

my last hidden orb i need is in green bay south where the shanty town is at, the blue dot on the orb-ping shows it right next to a red building with an Absorption unit on it and tactical location for the agency right next to it. If anyone can tell me how to find that last one that would be great

They are all quite easy, i got them all no problems without a guide. Just use the pause ping method.

I found all the hidden orbs as I was grabbing my agility orbs. As long as you "ping" for orbs constantly then you shouldn't have much trouble finding everything.

The orbs in the start menu are the ones that you have collected.

Can't recall anything special about that one, don't think it was underground.

Scoured the forums for the same orb. Finally found it. Look on the red building for a flashing sign that says "MINTISTING SO MINTY ...IT HURTS". It is located BEHIND this sign. Evil!! Hope this helps.

Actually, orb #ooo# in Unity Heights South does not exist on the interactive map. It has a check box but no marker for it. And of course thats the one orb I still need.

I'm having an impossible time finding the #d# hidden orb in Hope Springs South (far east island). I've been all around the damn island and stood on top of the ping dot countless times. Am I missing a tunnel or underground entrance?

If I remember correctly it's at the top of the smoke stack on the building where the orb is marked. Use the chopper to get it very easily.

So, I found the orb. Now I just need to finesse my way in to where it is. There is no orb #ooo# but if you look on the unity heights(south) map and find orbs #ii# and #jj# there are actually three orbs that are stacked there but one of them is not on the interactive map. That is the orb I was missing. I looked very closely at another map(not interactive) and saw a sliver of it peeking out.

This one has pictures, which as it stands are more helpful than "video coming later" even if some of the trickier ones still leave you with a feeling of "...So how did they get to that place in the picture?" At least you'd be able to tell if it's on a building or underground.

Also, you can zoom in or out, which can help avoid that problem where orbs clustered together look like one marker on the map thing.
