Do the AI get harder?

I'm playing Quest mode and I have won 21 consecutive games with out losing even a single round, I am quite hopeful the AI will stay where they are for difficulty but I doubt it.

Yeah it gets harder when the ranks go up. I got my first official loss at my 146th match, but that was cheating because it was only 15 seconds stupid Eileen.

Yeah no that I have ranked up quite a bit I am noticing them get harder, however it also seems to me that as long as I am a higher rank then them they still seem to be a pushover even if I had problem with them previously, I don't know if this is me getting better at the game or if they are programmed to suck if you out rank them.
