Maybe it's because I don't watch NFL but I can't seem to work out the controls. Reading them tells me absolutely nothing either.
So much for an easy 1000. EDIT: Once you get the hang of it (an hour and a half for me), it's easy. But not ridiculously easy like Avatar TLA. If you've never played Madden you may struggle with the controls and understanding the game for a while. Last edited by Xavygravy; 06-29-2010 at 11:21 AM. |

I agree that it may not be as easy as Avatar (havent tried that one yet) but in all reality... it took me about 3.5 hours to get all of them, so it is still pretty easy (just very very boring) |

It's not too hard to learn all the controls. You just have to know what buttons coincide with what plays and moves.

You can actually pretty much stumble through the game and score all of the achievements - I'd list this as an extremely montonous, time-consuming game, rather than hard.

You can actually quick sim the games in franchise to get the last achievement, unless you wanna play 30 seasons.

I played 1 game, 4 minute quarters for 590g. As for the simming goes its not that bad just flip from channel watch some tv and flip back every few minutes untill you get the pattern and timming down. Years 20-30 I rarely fliped back at all.

I can see where a new player would struggle..I never had trouble with these games because I've been playing them for so long.

Some key advice...
#1 Play on Rookie difficulty.
#2 Remember RT is sprint. #3 Turn Offsides down to 0. Press start during a game. Go to gamplay options and select off sides, and adjust slider to 0. When your opponent has the ball, before he hikes it, select one of your defensive men and have him run to the offense side and stand just behind the Quarterback. Don't touch anyone though. When they hike the ball, immediately tackle him with no penalty for being offsides. You'll get your 4 sacks, and you'll greatly increase chances of winning the game. Good luck. I love American sports and know them very well, but I dislike sport video games. This game took me less than 7 hours to complete. That's not bad.
