where are people getting the august release date I have only seen it from gamestop and it says that 8-31-10 isn't the official date they are just guessing and it's probably gonna change.

Well they just pushed the game back 28 days later from August 31. Yeah I know 28 days later but whatever. I'll be expecting this sometimes in late July to mid-August.

I take back what I say. It really might be coming out in 10 minutes! CAPCOM's fanpage on Facebook has been teasing an announcement at 11am EST, and the following site kind of gives away what game it is for;

ugh why don't companies have a release date and stick to it... Don't announce anything hinting at a date unless you know for sure that it will be ready then.

Because sometimes you cannot predict the future, especially when creating a game. Say you're making a game and you believe you'll be done by so and so date. Lets say you set your date forrrr...August 5th 2010. And say about a month before that date, you discover a bug. Are you going to release a broken game, or push it back? Its a sort of 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' kind of thing. Because, people will be angry if a broken game is released, yet they're angry if its pushed back by a week or two.
