Hey, is it possible to use the rock band 2's mic for lips?

I heard it is, however, you cant Shake your mic, like activating the starpower or other things that would dó things like that, it Will dó it automatly

Edit: oh yeah, it only works with party classics and 80's hits if i remember correct

Is it possible to earn the same achievements from Lips one w/ out buying lips like is this just a disc w/ songs and no achievements or can i earn all 1000G?
