need help final boss

i keep dying by wesker i keep trying to shoot the red mark but he doesn't die it just covers up i shoot him with grenade launcers and then it takes up all my bullets for the red mark and i sjoot it with other bullets but still it covers up again

anyone got any tips playing on normal

When it closes on his chest it opens on his back and you hit him from behind.

Yeah, when the red mark opens, you have to get in close and a trigger button will appear. make sure you have a lot of life, because it will drain yours and you could die, once you are on him, just button mash the trigger it gives you, and your AI will come in and start ripping away with her knife. after a little bit, the scene will trigger and you'll have beaten him, but don't let down there, since there is one more trigger scene afterward, but it's just mashing the Left and Right triggers once.

this fight is in the volcano crash site right ?

as chris i got the boulder over but then sheva always dies when i try and shoot him with rifle/magnums and nitro nade rounds
i'll try rockets next time lol

You have to shoot the red thing behind his back. When it opens at the front use a rocket launcher it kills him one shot
