100% Completion Requirements - Page 3

For finding Raccoons and Skunks your 'Just North of Armadillo' is too ambiguous. How far is 'just north'? I've been everywhere North of Armadillo at all time of day and I've found nothing.

There seems to be some randomness to the creatures that appear in an area, kind of like the way cars appear in gta games.

I haven't found a great spot for raccoons, but Tall Trees was best for me when doing the challenges. At night, check the area around the bighorn sheep icon on the main map. It's the grassy part of the sloping ridge, roughly from Tanners Reach and Manzanita Post down to the Bearclaw Camp. Note that this area can have grizzly bears.

For skunks, the largish open area east and southeast of Escalera seems to have several at night. I noticed them as I was playing through single player and found them again easily when doing the challenges. The most dangerous animals in this area are probably snakes and wolves, but there may be cougars as you get closer to sidewinder gulch.

Is there a way that you can put the Rockstar social website link at the top of the first post? So we can all have a way to track our progress? It's not needed, but it would make things much easier for some people. (Including me.

Apparently not (as you can't do it after you complete the main missions)

Anyone know how to trigger the Bandito Attack event in Mexico, it's the only scrap i need for that outfit now.

I already have the tracker on so i have the purple circle location but i still can't find the event!

So I'm in the dreaded 99%(99.8% to be exact) range and I am stuck. I have done everything and was working on the bounties. Now all the bounties show a question mark and no longer count. Is there anything I could have possibly missed(Besides the list stuff which I have confirmed in my stats)?

It's not the ?'s that count, it's the areas. Make sure you have done all 20 bounty locations, 8 in New Austin, 8 in Nuevo Paraiso and 4 in West Elizabeth.

Do you know where abouts they run through shooting, dragging a person along? Like is it through Escaerla, outside, or somewhere on the edges of the circle marker.

Great guide. I just have to do 3 more bounties and the 24 hr USA gang hide out. I was really surprised to see it wasn't more random things to get 100% such as win a mini game in each town, that the newspapers didn't count, ride each train line once, have a drink @ every saloon, and the horse deeds didn't play a role. No complaints here I'm @ 98.7% but I'm just pointing out the things that were in the game that I thought would have played a bigger role.

Thanx again for the guide because most of things you can complete just playing the game naturally without getting too side tracked

I'm at 98.2% and I still need the US Army Unifrom costume.

I have finished all the story, all 19 strangers, all 13 safehouses, all 5 rare weapons and 5 jobs done, all 4 of the challanges done. Sharpshooter, survivalist, hunter and treasure hunter. 94/94 locations discovered.

What am I missig? Is it something to do with bounites?

Any info will help, cheers

also good work with thias list it helped me reach 98.2 so thanks.

EDIT: I just won poker and know I need a few bounties now, 99.3%

Scrap 6: The tailor in Blackwater won't sell it to me, it's constantly saying 'Not Available'. I've tried at various times on about 5-6 different days, is there a secret I'm missing here? Got all the other parts of this outfit.

im at 94.1%, what i'm finding difficult is winning a game of Blackjack and Poker - i've never had any experience playing these games before and Im not really sure what to do.. is there an easy way to win them? thnx

For poker, best to wait until there's only one guy at the table, then just keep going all in

At some point he'll just do it and hopefully you'll win. Worked for me on the 3rd attempt, save just before you play. Blackjack, mostly luck I'm afraid.

Probably. In the pause menu, check Stats | Score. At the bottom of the list, you will need 8 New Austin, 8 Nuevo Paraiso, and 4 West Elizabeth bounty locations. Each location counts as 0.1%. You can use "?" bounties to fulfill the requirement.

It was locked for me for a long time also. I just worked on other parts of it and other things, and it eventually unlocked.

For poker, I just played. If you're new and want to learn more, search online for Texas Hold'em strategy or odds. Otherwise, I don't have much advice.

For 100% purposes, blackjack is easier. If you are new to blackjack, note that it is you against the house; any other players at the table do not matter. You need to leave the table with more money than you started with, which means you can keep quitting and rejoining until you win the first hand.

When I did it they started off just outside the town, shooting in the air, then started riding in to town. Sorry I can't be more specific, you'll just have to be lucky one time I guess

Scrap 6 for US Army outfit is unlocked after you finish all story missions.

It's just a location, there is no way to find animals over than going to the general location and looking around. Yes it takes forever. But that's how the game has been designed.

All the challenges take hours on end to complete for this very reason. So just explore and enjoy the game. I got sick of looking for specific animals so I just played through the game until I came across the ones i needed in these areas.

I seemed to win by using "tap tap tap hold tap tap tap hold etc. This enables you to keep giving pressure without exhausting your strength. These are just my observations so I could be wrong.
