Target Mark 'E' on extreme mission 3

I know this is a b***h but i've looked at two guides and two videos and still cannot even seem to see this target mark

Does anyone know of a landmark you can use to locate the exact point along the west side of the cliff where i have to look down

I call BS on this one.

I have spent far too long trying to get this - I can't even get the camera angle show in the picture - let alone see the fking mark. I've unloaded rocket launchers and full machine gun clips in the area, jumping, running, rolling etc and nothing. I've been stuck at 950/1000 for nearly 3 years because of it.

If anyone can add anything useful it would be appreciated.

What controller setting are you using? I found it was easier to grab the target marks while playing on Fixed 8. I know they're rough to get, same thing for the mission where you have to go back there yeesh. Not to mention the last level gets annoying as well.
