Getting 2,000,000 in EX mode

One of the EX options is unlocked from getting 2mil in a game. Any tips from those who have done it? So far thats the last one to get for me!

Just go into EX Options and turn auto aim on and auto missile and auto gun fire on

and you will get it

I turned on the ex that causes your combo to last so long as you don't die, along with unlimited climax, unlimited rockets, and then just spammed them both. Ended up at around 2.9M IIRC, though my play time grade was a D.
