Achievement Guide
This post is half way done and is being edited due to other people feeling they need to step on my toes.
I am starting with basic charts breaking down every song on every difficulty. Then the achievement breackdown will come after. My following charts are going to be long but they provide valuable information on song stats minus the new songs and they will be updated upon release. The List shows on the following difficulties: Easy Medium Hard Expert

 100K Club 10  Get 100,000 points in a song Can be done on almost any song on medium difficulty or above. My picks: War Pigs - Easy and Above Heart Shapped Box - Medium and Above Sweet Child O' Mine - Easy  200K Club 10 Get 200,000 points in a song Same as 100,000K My Picks: Freebird - Easy/Medium Monkey Wrench - Hard  300K Club 30 Get 300,000 points in a song Getting a bit more difficult as most would only be able to do this on Expert. My Picks: Killing in the Name - Expert Monkey Wrench - Expert X-Stream - Expert Freebird - Hard (If you're Decient)  400K Club 30 Get 400,000 points in a song These Last two are the hard ones. My Picks: Killing in the Name - Expert Monkey Wrench - Expert Freebird - Expert  Champagne Room V.I.P. 30 Get 500,000 points in a song This is where you're put to the test. I'm only going to list songs that it's possible on: Killing in the Name - Expert Freebird - Expert Fall of Pangea - Expert X-Stream - Expert  Roadie 10 Unlock Rat Cellar You'll get this after completing the first Tier of Songs in Career Mode  New Kid 10 Unlock Blackout Bar Unlocked after finishing the second tier of songs in Career Mode  Young Gun 10 Unlock RedOctane Club Unlocked after finishing the third tier of songs in Career Mode  Axe Grinder 10 Unlock Rock City Theater Unlocked after finishing the forth tier of songs in Career Mode  Shredder 10 Unlock Vans Warped Tour Unlocked after finishing the Fifth tier of songs in Career Mode  Rock Star 10 Unlock Harmonix Arena Unlocked after finishing the Sixth tier of songs in Career Mode  Guitar Hero 10 Unlock Stonehenge Unlocked after finishing the final tier of songs in Career Mode  Dimebag Darrell Award 10 Get a 100 note streak Using the Above chart, this cam be acomplished on every song on any difficulty. My Pick: Heart Shaped Box - Easy  Eddie Van Halen Award 30 Get a 500 note streak Sounds tough but If you play the same song as the above all the way through, you'll get this as well. My Pick: Heart Shaped Box - Easy  Yngwie Malmsteen Award 30 Get a 1000 note streak Once again, sounds tough, but fortunately we have a winner: Freebird - Medium  Easy Tour Champ 10 Beat the Easy tour Finish Career Mode on Easy Difficulty  Medium Tour Champ 30 Beat the Medium tour Finish Career Mode on Medium Difficulty  Hard Tour Champ 30 Beat the Hard tour Finish Career Mode on Hard Difficulty  Expert Tour Champ 30 Beat the Expert tour Finish Career Mode on Expert Difficulty  Sandbox Hero Award 30 Earn five stars on all songs in the Easy tour Above, I have listed the minimum required score for every song to achieve 5 Star ratings. The Section "5 Star Cut-Off" is the score needed for each.  Most Likely to Succeed Award 30 Earn five stars on all songs in the Medium tour Above, I have listed the minimum required score for every song to achieve 5 Star ratings. The Section "5 Star Cut-Off" is the score needed for each.  Guitarmaggedon Award 30 Earn five stars on all songs in the Hard tour Above, I have listed the minimum required score for every song to achieve 5 Star ratings. Start a Real Band Already Award 30 Earn five stars on all songs in the Expert tour Above, I have listed the minimum required score for every song to achieve 5 Star ratings. The Section "5 Star Cut-Off" is the score needed for each.  Rock School Grad 10 Complete all tutorials These are listed in the "Tutorials" section of the main menu. If you pay attention, some of you that are new to the game might lern a few things as it covers basics of notes, chords, hammer-on's, and pull-offs.  Scoremonger Award 10 Get an 8x multiplier Done on any song. This is done once you have built up enough star power. After you reach a x4 multiplier, you activate your star power by either pressing select or tilting the guitar back. The later is the preferd method of the most metal heads. \m/

 Perfectionist Award 30 Get 100% notes hit on a song Fairly easy on any song on Easy difficulty. Use the first tier of songs.  Rock Snob Award 10 Refuse to play an encore This is done in "Career" mode. After playing the initial setlist, you will be prompted to play an Encore.  Long Road Ahead Award 10 Fail a song on Easy This is harder than it sounds as the game won't even let you "traditionally" fail the song until 50% of the way through. After than, just strum until you're boo'd off the stage. Way to suck!!  Hendrix Award 10 Beat a song with lefty flip on Easy for those of you who are leftys. But for the rest of us, this setting is under your player options. Once done, I reccomend you play on easy.  Teacher's Pet Award 10 Practice three different songs Practice mode is under "Tutorials" on the main menu. I assure you, if you plan on getting beter (Or if you plan on beating Jordan on expert), you'll be using this more than just 3 times.  Saturday Morning Award 10 Beat Trogdor and Thunder Horse These are both bonus songs and this can be done on Easy difficulty. The songs first have to be purchased from the store in Career Mode  Kick the Bucket Award 30 Beat Jordan on Expert Practice mode. That's all I can say. This song combines corkey sounds with odd note progression. If you can play on expert, the song is fairly simple until the solo. The solo is an insane shred that literally does NOT stop. The best advice I can give is A) Practice mode to learn the off beat progression of the solo, and B) Aquire as much Star Power as possible before the solo and save it until you ASOLUTELY need it.  Gear Head Award 30 Buy all guitars It has been confirmed that you do NOT have to purchase the Unlockable guitars to get this achievement.  Fanatical Completionist Award 30 Buy all guitar finishes The finishes are only for Regular guitars and the finishes only appear for the guitars you own so you have to purchase all of the regular guitars first before you can get their respective finishes.  Record Collector Award 10 Buy all songs The songs are located in the Shop and can be bought from the initial start of the game.  Life of the Party Award 10 Buy all characters Same as the songs, can be purchased initial, pending you have the cash.  Fashion Plate Award 10 Buy all outfits Outfit can only be purchased for the default characters so this is the same as the songs, you can buy them initially.  Extra Credit Award 10 View the credits The Credits can be viewed under the "Options" on the main menu  Big Spender Award 10 Spend $10,000 at the store Self explanitory, this is easily spent while purchasing anything for the other achievements. Cash is awarded to you in Career mode for playing gigs on various difficulties. Your reward is based on your quality of performance.  Scenester Award 10 Beat all the unlock songs After purchasing all the songs, you are awarded this for completing all the songs.  Joan & Lita Award 30 Get a 100 note streak in Cooperative  Joe & Steven Award 30 Get a 500 note streak in Cooperative  Keef & Mick Award 30 Get a 1000 note streak in Cooperative  Lennon & McCartney Award 10 Get an 8x streak in Cooperative  Page & Plant Award 30 Get 100% notes hit on a song in Cooperative The Co-Op achievements are a bit more difficult as you not only have to worry about yourself, ut someone else as well. I reccomend doing this on any song on easy with a bass line.  200K Pair 30 Get 200,000 points on a song in Cooperative Two Players getting at least 90% notes on Freebird on Medium difficulty can aquire this achievement. Along with 400K Other songs: Killing in the Name: Hard/Expert Heart Shaped Box: Hard  400K Pair 30 Get 400,000 points on a song in Cooperative Ideal Songs: Killing in the Name - Expert Freebird - Medium Heart Shaped Box - Expert  600K Pair 30 Get 600,000 points on a song in Cooperative Ideal Songs: Freebird - Hard/Expert Killing in the Name - Expert Jessica: Hard/Expert Fall of Pangea - Hard/Expert One for the Road - Expert X-Stream - Hard/Expert  800K Pair 30 Get 800,000 points on a song in Cooperative Wow, pushing it aren't we? I'm now only going to list songs it's possible on: Killing in the Name - Both players on Expert getting 100% Jessica - Both Players on Expert Institutionalized - Both Players on Expert. Lead guitar must hit 97% and Rythym guitar must hit 100% Freebird - Hard/Expert. If on hard 100% from both players. Expert has more oxygen room.  Millionaire Pair 30 Get 1,000,000 points on a song in Cooperative Ok, this is only possible on 2 songs: Jessica - This has only been done by 4 different players each hitting 100% and 99% notes respectively. Both playing on Expert achieving a score of 1,067,045. The video of the accomplishment can be found at the following link: Jessica Millionaire Pair Freebird - The more realistic of the two, many players have scored 1 million on this song but it requires two players playing on Expert hitting at least 97% of the notes.

yo, good job on the guide bro, I can tell I'm not gonna have a full 1000 for this game.
are those all the real pictures too? The black and white ones dont look unlocked.

For the 1000 note streak on coop (and 500, for that matter), I'd recommend both players playing on Easy, and Heart-Shaped Box. Me and my friend hit 100% of the notes, giving us a combined streak of 1084

So I beat all the songs in career mode (on easy still, Medium is kicking my ass) and Stonehenge was NOT unlocked.

The last tier of songs, as well as all of the encores, are only available on Medium difficulty or higher. You're going to have to get through all of Medium to unlock all of the songs/venues.

Nice job I like it.
Im pissed though they arent stacked achievments so gotta go through stupid easy and medium and be bored out of my mind now. I cant like with having a low gamerscore in GH id die! |

NOTE FOR GUITAR COLLECTOR:
I talked to the player at the top of the career score board and he has the purchased all guitars achievement but has only finished expert, and not on 5 stars. He said all you have to do is buy the guitars that don't need to be unlocked, otherwise that would just be unfair ROCK ON!!! |

OK since there isn't an achievement discussion thread i am going to post in here and maybe someone can help me out. I have never played this game until last night. I am playing on Easy and played throught the first 2 gigs but I still have no cash and the store is even unlocked for me to be able to buy anything.
Can someone tell me what I need to do to A.) Get cash and B.) Get the store to unlock so i can buy things? Thanks in advance for any help. |

Ok, I don't get the whole "5 star cut off" chart at the top. Or maybe I do. I understand that the number beside each song is the total notes in a song. Is 5 starts determined by a combination of a certain note streak and your score, or just your score? And also, are the scores you listed about just the 5 star cut off for Easy? A 5 star cut-off score would be very handy for Hard and Expert difficulties.

"Lefty-Flip" is available under Video Options. You can either do it from the options at the main menu, or from the Pause menu mid-song. Of course, you have to restart the song if you do it from the pause menu.

I played a few songs on medium last night so I could get some money to buy Trogdor. Im new to Guitar Hero and Im not that good so I only got 3 or 4 stars on the songs I played. My question is when I go back to get 5 stars on the songs I already did will I get more money of is it a one shot deal?

You can get more money. Basically, if you get 5 stars, you get $600, which is the max you can earn total. So if you get 4 stars on a song, it'd be $350, and then if you beat the same song and get 5 stars, you'd get $250, which totals $600. Then you'd be "done" with that song.
Also when you get a chance, K-dog, can you refer to my post before this  thanks. PS-- we're tied right now in achievement points. Unfortunately, I'm at work now... but I'm thinking about bringing in my system here in an hour or so :P:P
