O.G. achievement glitched and will not unlock

Hello everyone, I joined today because I could not find answers anywhere else, including the technical support at THQ.

How do I unlock a glitched achievement?

I have all gold for the missions and later replayed levels that did not appear on the leaderboard as Hard and receiving gold medal score. I have also erased my game from the system settings.

Edit: After customer support calls to THQ and Microsoft, it turns out I would have to set up a new profile to reattempt the achievement. The game data is saved to my profile, which cannot be deleted, eventhough I have erased the game data from system settings and erased the cache.

Maybe I'll do the Japanese version. Do you have to buy a $300.00 Japanese Xbox 360?
