XP Glitch has been fixed!
I just got on today to play some online AVP and i noticed my rank had went from 43 back down to 22 , but yet from what i can tell all my skins are still there as well as my achievements (of course)..but i figured i would let everyone know

Most of the fans that go to actual AVP forums know this. Big discussion about it on avpgalaxy forums. The patch had other changes but they were never really game breaking to begin with. Only noticable one is disc damage is lowered so less disc spam or will it lead to more cause they keep using it for more hits?.. lol.

Certainly looks that way... loaded this game up yesterday to do my marine campaign on hard and was greeted by an update screen. Not tried multiplayer yet, prob do that tonight but from what friends tell me, the update fixes the XP glitch and 'balances out the multiplayer experience' Whatever that means!

i heard the exp glitch is during the marine campaign on hard mode right ? if so cant you just clear the cache and get rid of the update then play offline ?

Checked my online rank when I tried the game again last night and i'm still ranked at Level 46!!! So no loss in rank for me personally, dunno bout the rest of you peeps. Not played enough of the online mode to get there legit just from level 44 to 46 so maybe the loss in rank only affects certain people depending on how often they play it? Since i've already got the XP achieve's I can't confirm of deny weather it still works sorry guys =oS But will continue to ask around and post accordingly!

I feel for all those who didn't get it done. Without the glitch you're looking at around 40 hours of multiplayer to get it.

Thank god I glitched this when I did. Waiting 5 mins for a bloody match takes the piss tbh.

LOL, as soon as i get the last 4 achievements for this game tonight, i'm heading straight over to my local shop and trading the sh*t outta AVP for a copy of FIFA 10......after playing the World Cup 2010 demo.....i realised i made a BIG mistake getting rid of FIFA 10!
I may get Just Cause 2 instead, my mates say it's very good!  AVP is not a game worth keeping unfortunately. Campaigns are too short and the multiplayer is full of 'button-bashers'.....sucks giant ass!!!

I knew this was coming...glad I glitched it.
I was so excited for this game and it was a big let down...got rid of it cause I just didn't want to play it anymore. |

Thank god i did the glitch just after it was discovered, i don't want to be playing multiplayer for some 40 to 100 hours on this game, just long enough to get all achievements. I don't care about my rank tbh, but i've not checked if its gone down or not.

Do you have to accept an update for this or is it a server side fix. As of yesterday I've not had to download an update, maybe PAL/UK are a few days behind ?
