Eh, I rather be in your shoes. My dumbass bought the expansion without a working 360 (to avoid the rush).

So now I have to sit here knowing that I could be playing, but my 360 wont play retail games.

I have been checking it all night through Marketplace, just in case they decided to release it early due to the Tuesday shutdown. Thanks for the info on it being downloaded only through the game.

And man, 993.75MB is a bunch of space. There goes a few downloads.

Doubt Microsoft will ever reduce it's price which is a shame since eventually the PC version of the expansion will be reduced in the far future. I don't think they have ever given discounts on Marketplace stuff, have they?

Cool looking place... new monsters, items and quests are ALWAYS good... but the writing (i.e. story, dialogue, etc) is dreadful. Whatever... more Elder Scrolls = happy me. If I wanted Dostoevski, I wouldn't have turned on the 360, y'know?

anyone else getting a "this save relies on content that is no longer present.some objects may no longer be available.continue loading?" when they continue there adventure or load a save? i downloaded the expansion around 7pm, booted it up at 9pm and went to deepscorn hollow to gear up. i decided to give graw2s defender achievement one last go before matinence(got it one minute till 12!) so i saved my game in deepscorn around 10pm. this morning i get the aformentioned screen, i load anyways and it starts me at the tiber septim hotel!

This is the same problem I have had. If you had to have a console replaced, then it no longer matches up to the downloaded content and you now have to Live with your gamertag to prove that it is your account trying to access it. So when Live is down, like today, it will not load that content and anything in your save that includes this content will also not be loaded.

Thanks a bunch for clearing that up crash, i recently moved all my saves over to a new hard drive i got for christmas so that must be it. Atleast shivering isles works. Infact I just harvested black tar across from the gatekeepers skeleton,lol. its effects are fatigue,rofl.

I am in the same boat. I chose Dementia as well and have 59/60. I wish I had a save game at that point and just go back for that one quest.

It includes all the previous contents =O. Luckily I haven't download any of the previous content (except Mehrunes Razor, when it was free). Can't wait to get my hands on Shivering Isles, Knights of the Nine and other goodies. =)

I'm stuck on this myself... If you find out, let me know. If I find out, I'll let you know. But shit, I wish I had made two saves when I had to choose a side. That fucking blows.

EDIT: OK, figured it out... we were aparrently being a couple of fools here... there's a button in the room on the side of one of the stone pillars where the gargoyles rest. Press it and it opens up a false wall. Then there's another one in that hallway that opens up another. There's a couple guards in there and Syl, for your eviscerating pleasure.

Thanks... nice interview... also nice to hear about the "other projects" they're working on finally getting priority. The "other projects" include Fallout 3, which I'm particularly stoked about.

I am trying to figure out how to get this without having to do it twice. Can anyone tell me when the good time to save is to get both the Duke Mania and Dementia and I saved after killing the gatekeeper before I chose one of the doors to go through so I could do it both different ways. But can anyone tell me if that's where you should save or is it further on when you're already doing quests for the King guy?
