locksmith glitched?
anybody had problems getting this to unlock? ive just completed the game for the first time on the hardest difficulty but this didn't unlock?

Yea, it unlocked at Chapter 8 here. I think that it is glitched or only count if you dont get caught (like no retry)

i did a playthrough on medium and kept picking the lock to the kitchen around chapter 3 i think after you learn lock picking, and kept getting seen, then respawn, pick it again, then rinse 5 times and achievement popped

Yeah, I picked/unscrewed way more than 5 before it popped. When it did finally pop it was after I failed like 10 times on picking the lock behind Bullock so go figure.

Finally got it to unlock but i had to start a new game to get it. It just wouldnt pop on my shark playthrough. Popped right on time on my second playthrough on the easiest difficulty.

Having the same problem myself on shark difficulty. Is there a way I can unlock a door or grate unseen reload check point and repeat?

I just finished the game a few days ago and have yet to unlock this yet. I'm starting to think its not story related.
