I have just delivered Hunters message, and now I find myself in the city, with no masks, all I do is constantly fall and die, what should I do?

I had a similar problem on a later level. Try to rush out into the level to find a filter. If you're not having any luck, you may have to reload a previous chapter.

I had the same problem after you deliver the kid, I had something like 2 miniutes of filter and had to run through about 15 soldeirs before I found a filter, odd seeing as they're is a mini market thing before you leave and they don't even sell em.

Yeah, what I done was buy as many filters as I could at the very start of the game since you hardly get any later on; that seemed to make it okay for me later on.
I'm still sure it must be a glitch though that you can't buy any at some vendors and that you see some and can't pick them up. Some of the vendors even have them on display and you still can't buy them.

thoguh i agree about the ones just lying there that you cant pick up, but i assumed they were empty filters that had already been used and discarded |

When I was on top of a building where you need to take take the tape I ran out of filters and died. As soon as I started from the checkpoint I pressed LB to check the filters. Here it seemed to glitch because I didn't have any filters yet I didn't die. There were breathing sounds coming from my character that you normally get when you put a gas mask on.
To test this I reloaded the checkpoint and didn't press LB and sure enough I didn't have any filters and died again so once more reloaded the checkpoint and pressed LB straight away and was able to carry on as normal. |

Sorry to resurrect an old topic, but I am in the same place.
Last few stations it wouldn't let me buy any more filters, and now after delivering the message I am out. Looks like I am screwed, and now I have no interest in going way back to the beginning to buy more. Bummer too, was a pretty fun game. |

I had about 45+ or 50+ minutes of filters all the time through my both playthroughs (one was RHC) and scavenged all around, easier then 2033 where you could only have limited ammount of filters (15 minutes I think?).
Edit: Holy shit, just noticed this is 2033 forum, I had both opened at one time, sorry, anyway it still is easy even on 2033

I also preferred the way 2033 didn't have ammo limitations. You could pick up all the ammo you found.

The way 2033 deals with filters is strange. You can't seem to pick up most filters you see if you have more than 10-15 minutes of filters to spare, although a few filters here and there are still pickable.
And yes, this game is ruthless with any supplies on higher difficulties, which is unfortunately rare in modern games. |
