Terrible Quality on MW2 Montage - Need Help
Recently, i created a MW2 Intervention Montage for Youtube but it is simply awful quality.
My friend says they are good kills but he can't really see them due to the poor quality. I don't want to buy a HD recorder since i rarely make videos but im just wondering if anyone knows how to turn my poor video into a medium or HD quality video- Any Help..? ![]() This is the link to my montage- My bad quality montage. |

If the source quality is bad, the end result is bad.
In terms of filming... Crop the screen properly, using a tripod and ensuring it's perfectly centered. If your camera has a TV-recording setting (many modern ones do), use it. Import the footage at the highest quality settings possible. Edit, export it at the highest quality settings. Then let youtube rape it. But if you want my personal opinion... No-one wants to watch someone's tv being filmed. The footage would have to be very exciting for me to watch more than ten seconds of that.

If you want to make a good montage, get a capture card. Now I have no experience with capture cards but I assume they record uncompressed. Use Premiere Pro or Sony Vegas to edit the montage, export uncompressed and use VirtualDub with the x264 codec which, when tuned, can give you lossless quality and a very good file size.
